Do I Hear Twenty?

Well, I did it:  I talked to the auctioneer.

Jim Frio is coming to my house tomorrow to see some of my treasures and talk to me about how this all works.  With any luck, I should be able to rustle up enough stuff to pay for the new kitchen floor, and maybe even get a dishwasher!

My biggest problem is that I have too much stuff — primarily because I hate to part with any of it.  I come from a long line of packrats, and I’ve perfected it to an art form.  Maybe Jim can wave some dollars under my nose and get me to let go.  More details to follow….

Hey let me know how this works out. I have
a whole house full of precious junk! Earl
has 3 garages full too! I know how to install
pergo flooring if you need help getting started.
I did my whole downstairs. Quarter round and
all. I even learned how to use a coping saw.

I too inherited the tendency to be a packrat. I have boxes that I haven’t even unpacked since I moved a year ago, and probably won’t unpack before I move again. Clearly I don’t need the things inside them, but am I going to give them away, or sell them? No way! :)

Add me to the list of packrats! Woo Hoo on doing something about it to pay for the kitchen floor. Great idea.
