Well, it’s happened: Heidi, Jolson, and Buddy are jealous now that Ginger and Bandit have their picture out there in cyberspace. So, in the interest of fairness and family unity, here are my other children:
This is Heidi. She’s the old lady of the bunch, at 15 years. When we got her as a pup, she was supposed to be a miniature daschund. Turns out she was the runt of a standard litter. She’s not a weiner dog; she’s a bologna dog. She IS the boss.
Here’s Buddy. You remember him from the dog food scare. I’m glad to report that he’s feeling much better, although he’ll no doubt be taking meds for his kidneys for the rest of his life. I love this picture because he’s being really sweet here. He’s sleeping. Ah, peace!
Finally, our very own little welcome wagon. Jolson has never met a stranger, but Goodness knows she tries! We have a four-foot high chainlink fence around the yard. She climbs over it in about eight tenths of a second, and she’s OFF! Everyone in the neighborhood knows her name. She runs right up to strangers, but she thinks dashing away from us is a really fun game. That’s why she only goes outside on a leash.
