One of the really neat things about camp is that it’s so very peaceful — sort of.

Actually, it’s a lot like having one of those sound machines, only you can’t always choose the sound you want. We wake up every morning to Canada geese and other waterfowl squawking away, and throughout the day, we can listen to the squirrels chatter and the fish jump. Other wildlife abounds too — some of it human! And then, there are the thunderstorms.

We don’t have phone service up there, and there’s no internet, either, so I’ll be going dark here for a few days. But I promise to have lots of fun memories to share with you once we get home.
