I’ve made no secret of the fact that I use my blog as a way to pick up a little bit of income.  In fact, the way I see it, there’s really not a lot of difference between writing a blog posting for cash and hosting a radio talk show for cash.  And since I’ve already spent half a lifetime in the radio gig, taking up the blogging thing comes, well, rather naturally.

That’s why I’m always excited when I discover solid, reliable, and reputable companies willing to connect bloggers like me with the advertisers who pay for the online exposure these posts provide.   One such company is called Smorty.

Bloggers can get paid to blog (something that we would do anyway!), and advertisers can connect with those independent agents willing to offer them the exposure they’re looking for.  It’s really a win-win.  If you want to advertise on blogs (I’m convinced it’s the wave of the future, by the way), or if you want to get paid for blogging, then get smart — and get Smorty!
