You know how it goes. You wait all week for a very important phone call, then as soon as you’re gone, the phone rings.
We’ve been at our camp since Saturday afternoon, and of course, buried among those 15 messages on my machine when I got home Tuesday night was one from the news director from the TV station where I had my interview a couple of weeks ago. Brenda and I have been friends as well as colleagues for many years, so I can call her back tomorrow and explain why I didn’t get right back to her, but let’s face it: this doesn’t look good. I hope she’s in a good mood!
I guess I’ll find out tomorrow if I got the producer job. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and good wishes. I’ll let you know what happens….

Oh I hope you get good news!
Thanks, Julie. I’m getting even more nervous about it now!
