There’s a lot to consider when you’re in a performing group, and it goes well beyond learning the music and polishing the delivery.

For example, since we provide all of our own equipment, and because I had experience with audio stuff, I was the one in charge of selecting the PA system, the CD player, the mics, cables, speakers, monitors, and the rest.  Every time we go out, we all pitch in to set it up and test it, then tear it down and pack it away when we’re done.  In short, we are our own roadies.

There’s also quite a bit to consider when it comes to promotion.  Right now, we’re talking about upgrading our business cards.  We might have a few flyers printed, as well as checking into some full color postcard printing. It would be nice to send personalized thank you notes, and shipping out those Christmas wishes would be a whole lot easier!
