There are two things I don’t have right now that I really want when we remodel the kitchen: a garbage disposer and a dishwasher.

I’ve been looking at KitchenAid Dishwashers online, and they are just about perfect. I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for,” and while these appliances do cost a bit more than some other brands, the features they offer actually make them a good deal.

Retrofitting a dishwasher should be pretty easy, too, since they’re available as standard in-cabinet units, drawer units, even models that fit inside the sink.

I’ve never had a dishwasher, but that has to be my least favorite task, so I’m really looking forward to getting one. Now I just need to figure out which cabinet to give up.
