I'm from Edinburgh rather than Glasgow, though it's not awfully far away (around 40 miles). Yesterday's events were somehow surreal. We watched everything unfold on TV shortly after I had a call telling me what had happened. Things could have been utterly dreadful at Glasgow Airport; thankfully, they weren't.
