Are you as confused as I am by the amazing number of choices when it comes to choosing among vacuum cleaners?
I’m old enough to remember when your basic choice was whether you wanted a cannister or an upright. Then they came out with those power beater bar things for the cannisters and hose attachments for the uprights, both of which blur the distinction. Add in whether you want the hepa filters, bags or bagless, cyclonic action or no, and a myriad of other options, and I can’t make up my mind — and I haven’t even begun to think about those tiny stick vacuums for quick pick-ups and dustbusters for autos.
Don’t get me wrong — I’m all about having lots of choices and being able to find just what you want. But sometimes I think back to a simpler time when choosing how to vacuum my carpet was a little less daunting.

I am notorious for killing off vacuum cleaners -lol- The one I have now is the best vacuum I’ve ever had. I’ve had zero problems with it at all and I’ve had it over a year. The funny thing is it was only $50 at Walmart on sale and it works awesome, bagless little green vacuum cleaner. Although I do need to get a little dustbuster or something small for quick stuff and for those creases in the stairs.
Isn’t it funny how the cheap ones always seem to work better? My mom bought one of those big honkin’ ones from a door-to-door salesman (You know the brand — starts with the letter K) and it was SO heavy, she couldn’t push it!
