An Opening Window

I’ve been working on getting ready for the Fall Semester, and it’s beginning to pay off.

Turns out I might get another class or two this fall, which is great.  Maureen told me this afternoon that they’re going to have to open a few more sections for classes in the English, Speech, and Sociology departments, and I’ll probably pick up something in one if not both of the first two.

I’m really glad I didn’t allow myself to panic and rush out to grab any old job now.  I’ve always been very loyal — some would say to a fault — so quitting to be available for teaching would have been extremely difficult.  As it turns out, things are falling into place for me quite nicely.   Yeah, this feels right.

Thanks, Julie. It’ll be good to get back in the saddle again.
