The place where BJ works has a bowling alley, a mini golf course, an inflatable playground — and the biggest and best haunted house in the area, bar none.
It’s actually three haunted houses in one: the traditional maze in a big old house and cornfield, a trip through the jungle with the ghouls (designed for the younger kids) — and slasher alley. Oh, yeah, college kids dressed up like Freddie, Jason, and the rest. They even use a real chain saw (chain removed from the bar, of course, but it’s still really scary.) That one’s my favorite.
Good as it is, though, it’s not as realistic as the movies it’s based upon. And I’m happy to report that there will soon be a new installment and an instant classic in the slasher films genre: Ron Zombie’s “Halloween the Movie.”
What does this one have to offer? Well, watch this trailer, and see for yourself:
Pretty cool, huh? Are you as intrigued as I am? If so, you’re really looking forward to the movie’s release date of August 31. It’ll be interesting to see Ron Zombie’s take on this horror classic, and happily, the wait is almost over.Watching “Halloween: The Movie” will certainly get me ready for the haunted house this fall. How about you? Ready to be scared?
