Well, the kitchen remodel is on hold, probably until next year.

BJ and I discussed the many wonderful benefits of new granite countertops, shiny cabinet hardware, and the rest, and we decided to wait until we can afford to get just what we want instead of settling and regretting it later.

I guess I get that from my mother.  She was a firm believer in “you get what you pay for,” and unfortunately, I have champagne taste with a beer budget.   But that’s okay.  It’ll give me more time to research all those fancy new appliances!
