Today was a much better day.

First, BJ got more hours at work because the bowling leagues are starting up again. That will help pay some bills!

Second, the mail held some pleasant surprises. Thanks, Colleen, for the lovely Get Well card. It really picked my spirits up.

Third, my sister Ruth brought me a lift chair.  Now I can actually go to the potty all by myself.  This is good for my mood — feeling more independent really helps — and BJ won’t have to worry about me so much at work.

It’s not going to be any picnic, but now, at least, the next four months should me a lot more tolerable!
