It’s been a few days since I’ve posted anything — A, because sitting up for too long just plain hurts, and B, because I’m so out of touch right now that I haven’t had much to say. So here are just a couple of random thoughts:

Nine-Eleven falling on a Tuesday again brought back a lot of painful memories for me. I was in the middle of covering that horrible event when my radio station had a major anthrax scare. Please pray for the victims’ families — and for an end to all of this.

The New England Patriots and their coach, Bill Belichick, have lost all my respect. Win WITHOUT cheating for a change, why don’t you?!

BJ has been trying hard to make the house handicap accessible. You would LOVE what we’ve done to the place. The new wheelchair ramp is very cool.

Thanks again to all of you for your good wishes. I’m beginning to feel a little better now, even though my doctor isn’t amused.
