What a nice couple of surprises!

My computer must have been feeling sympathy pains, because it decided it no longer wanted to play nice with me at all.  Simply turning it on was taking as much as 20 minutes; by then, I was too tired to sit up and write anything, or even try to check my e-mail, which would only load about half the time, anyway.

Fortunately, living next door to Marisa has its advantages whenever something like this happens.  She came over and got it, took it to her house for about three days, and brought it back with an attitude adjustment.  I have no idea what she did, only that it’s behaving much better now.  Thank you, Neighbor.

New capabilities in hand, I finally was able to check my e-mail, only to discover that a fellow blogger had created a lovely get well card for me on her blog.  Isn’t that sweet? I love nice people!

Thanks again to all of you for your thoughts, prayers, and concern.  I really am feeling better.  And this ordeal can’t last forever!
