Well, the girls were here today for quartet practice, and it was great to see them all and get the old pipes warmed up again.
We usually have our rehearsals once a week at the director’s house, but since I’m not doing stairs just yet, they all piled into the car and drove down here instead. I think Mary Kathryn was worried about whether I could sit up long enough to get through it. I told her that between my high pain tolerance levels, my desire to do ANYTHING to overcome the boredom, my love of the group and its members in general, and my overall stubborn streak, she didn’t need to worry.
We sing tomorrow morning at a church in Martins Ferry, Ohio. I hope it goes well. I know it’s good to be back!
