After this weekend’s football games, I’m ready for some serious headache treatment.

First, my Mountaineers set the stage for Top-25 upsets on Friday when they lost to South Florida. My alma mater slipped from Number 5 to Number 13. Of course, six other ranked teams lost, too, so at least the commentators didn’t harp too much.

Then there was Sunday. Maybe the Eagles should wear those hideous blue and yellow uniforms again; they’re too embarrassing to lose in. And speaking of headaches, I’m pretty sure Donovan McNabb has one after being sacked 12 times!

I’m stepping away from football for a couple of days; it’s October, and the baseball playoffs are about to begin. Play Ball!
