The quartet is back in action.  We went to sing for the residents at an assisted living facility tonight.  It was wonderful.

There were a couple of rough spots, but overall, things went pretty well.  I know the residents enjoyed it.  Several of them came up to us afterward, and they were just beaming.  We plan to go back and do our Christmas program for them in a few weeks.

It’s a good feeling to know that we were able to brighten those folks’ lives just a little bit.  That’s why we started the group in the first place:  to give back some of the joy we get from singing.   I’m sore, and I’m tired, but I’m happy.  It’s good to get back into the swing of things again.
