Sometimes it seems like the world is conspiring against me.
First, there’s sick Heidi. She still stinks, and her weight loss is alarming. But she will eat a few bites for us and will take some water. Her bowels and kidneys still work.
So, too, does her gag reflex, apparently. Poor baby is just wandering around the house, puking as she goes. I don’t handle that well at all; my gag reflex is just fine, too.
Cleaning it up is even tougher today, though, because we’re without water. Seems there was a break somewhere, and the office folks say they’re not sure how long it will take to fix it. Sigh.
Oh, and we’re having a thunderstorm. Buddy and Bandit are thunder-wooses, so they’re both up my butt. This could turn out to be an interesting night.
That’s not good - hope she gets better soon, poor thing!

Thanks! The thunder is gone, and the snowflakes are now here. We DO have water again, but the wonder weiner is still not good. I’ll keep you all informed.
