The weather around here has taken a definite turn, and it’s pretty obvious that winter is on its way.

Part of me is happy about that, but every year, it becomes a smaller part.  I’ve just about reached the point where the idea of going outside to play in the snow sounds silly.  About all that gets me going now is enjoying the holiday season — and football.

I won’t be seeing as much of Marisa, either, since both of us has a tendency to hunker down and hibernate.  She’s not exactly Jane Iredale, but she certainly can whip up some really awesome all-natural cosmetics and skin care products.  To be perfectly honest about it, I’m kinda glad she gets back into the home lab during the winter.  I usually wind up with a couple of experiments, and they’re always wonderful!
