Now that it gets dark at about 4:30 in the afternoon, we’re really glad about the hot time we spent this summer stringing up the deck lights.
It’s funny how much difference those little dusk to dawn sconces make. Each bulb is only four volts, so it’s not exactly like being under the interrogation lights, but they give the deck such a nice warm glow. And those multi-colored rope lights are probably going to be about it for Christmas decorations since I can’t easily get into the attic with my broken pelvis, and BJ isn’t allowed to do anything with that shoulder.
It was really hot then, but it’s so worth it now. Somebody please remind me of that when I’m whining again!
