Fighting the Blues

I have a serious case of the Drearies today.

The weather isn’t helping.  It’s been raining and drizzling all day, and it’s a cold rain.  The wind is gusting.  It’s just — well — dreary outside.

It’s also dreary inside.  My Mounties lost last night, and BJ’s Seahawks beat my Eagles this afternoon.  I’ve decided I don’t much enjoy watching football games with fans of the opposing teams.  Sigh.

Then there’s Christmas.  My mom’s birthday was December 24, and we always had the big family get-together then.  I always miss her a lot, but it’s even worse this time of the year.

Sorry I’m whining, but it’s just one of those days.  I’m hoping that I’ll snap out of this funk soon.  I just wish I had some cash for a little retail therapy.  Maybe I would get myself a nice Girard Perregaux watch.  Or a power tool.   Or a day at the spa.  Or a Big Mac….

    Tammie,

Since I don’t have your email address this is the only way I can
contact you. I am trying to find the piano sheet music for a song.
“Mark’s Song” by Eastmoutainsouth. I heard the song and fell in
love with it. Any help would be appreciated.

    Your niece,

    Debbie

    Hi, Deb.

I’ve put the word out — surely one of my readers can come up with something for you. They’re really good at this type of thing.
