Finding a happy Patriots fan tonight is harder than finding Jimmy Hoffa in The Meadowlands. But everybody else is ecstatic.
Heartiest congratulations to the New York Giants, 17-14 winners of Super Bowl XLII and spoilers of Cheater Bill’s perfect season. It was a good game, better than the commercials, in fact, and I can’t say that about a lot of the other Super Bowls. The very best part, though, was watching Belichick leave the field before the final play. What a sore loser!
I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan, so I’m used to rooting against the Giants as a big divisional rival. But I’m pleased to see the 18-1* signs all over the stadium. And at least it wasn’t the Cowboys!
