Every now and then, I actually manage to get something accomplished. This was one of those days.
It started this morning with a decision not to venture out to go to church. The heavy snow on top of the heavy ice pretty much ruled out travel, so even though I hate missing, it was probably for the best. The TV news had stories on all kinds of wrecks, after all, and a lot of the road crews around here have run out of salt.
So, feeling more than a little guilty, I tore into not one but two stacks of papers I had to grade, and I’m happy to report that they’re all finished. I scoured the bird cage and changed his litter. And BJ and I did the laundry.
Even though I was holed up all day, I got a lot done. Yeah, it feels good.

You know your productive day was sure scary for me. I show up at church and it’s me and kenny I told kirk to sing LOUD. Diana and Kim held down the Tenors cause Tim was at the emergency room with something in his eye, Earl was singing with Friends, Richey was who knows where and of Course Scott. It was pretty scary but we pulled it off and Beaver was sitting out front and said it sounded real balanced and pretty. We were able to secure a clap afterwards too.
My left ear sure missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you Wednesday for your big day too!!!!
Glad it went well, and I’m really sorry I wasn’t there, but the roads up here were much better suited to playing hockey than to driving.
I got laundry done yesterday too. That was it. I was completely drained and stayed sitting on the sofa with my laptop most of the day!
Lynne, sometimes angst is a real motivator. You had a good excuse to vegetate, though, after that DI marathon!
