BJ and I have been talking a lot lately about listening to different people’s accents and trying to figure out where they live.
I’m really not sure how this discussion thread began, quite honestly, but it’s been coming up quite a bit as of late. And I’ve been told I have an accent.
Now, you have to understand that we live north of the Mason-Dixon line. I always have. BJ, however, has not, having moved to this area while in the 5th grade. The drawl still comes out every once in awhile.

I got the same results you did - born and bred in Florida. (One of the few natives!)
One of the more interesting accents I’ve ever heard came spilling from my niece’s mouth. She grew up in upstate New York and moved to Alabama after college. Weird combination, that!
