Well, here we are, just a couple of days away from spring (YAY!), and the weather woes continue.

This time it’s rain.  Lots of it.  We’re expecting about three inches of the stuff by midnight tomorrow.

The problem, aside from the obviously huge amount in the forecast, is that we haven’t exactly been experiencing a drought around here.  The ground is already so saturated that there’s nowhere for any more water to go.  It’s all run-off into the streams, creeks, and river.

Everyone here is keeping an eye to the rising flood waters — and to the mud and rock slides.  Maybe we should begin work on another ark!
