I guess I’m supposed to consider it a signing bonus.  At least that’s how I’m looking at it.  And I gotta tell you — as promotional products go, this is one of the best I’ve seen.

I picked up my new laptop today, and it’s VERY cool.  The school gave me a MacBook Pro with a 15-inch widescreen and all kinds of software.  Of course, since my other Mac has a 14.4 modem (yes, it really IS that old!), it’s pretty different from the computer I’m accustomed to using.

Do any of you use Macs?  Can you give me some pointers?  I don’t want to break it or cause it to crash, but I need a quick lesson since I’ll be expected to demonstrate some fluency with the Apple software (especially Quark) when school starts a week from Monday.
