How To Gain A High Level Of Confidence
Noticing a person with zero confidence is not that hard at all. In most cases such people don't talk much or they are always looking away when someone looks at them straight in the eyes. But if you lack confidence I am here to assure you that everything will be alright. You can increase your confidence by doing a few simple things.
Growing in confidence is no overnight process. Most of the confident people you come across took years of practice to become who you see. The starting point is always your inner self. When you appreciate yourself for who you are and what you possess you will slowly grow in confidence. It all starts with valuing yourself to the point where you don't feel like anyone is better than you. It doesn't help to visit a fine costume jewelry wholesale distributor to get a nice earring; confidence is created from the inside.
The importance of this is only felt the moment you begin to see yourself as who you are. Lack of confidence stems from not believing in your self- worth. But when you make a list of things that are attractive about you you will become confident as a result of the significant psychological lift that comes from that. The basic psychology is that when you see what you are worth you will no longer see someone as better than you. When you see someone as better than you you will struggle to express yourself because you think you are not comparable to them.
The next step is to start interacting with people more and more. When you start engaging people in conversation what happens is that you will begin to enjoy the sound of your voice. The moment you start to hear your own voice you will develop a craving to hear it more and more. And this is where you will increase in confidence as you will start talking more and more.
What I found helpful was having public performances. As a musician you can never runaway from the limelight. As a result of my different escapades on stage performing I became more and more confident. I'm not saying you must consider being a musician. Just get into a position where you have to address a large number of people all at once; I don't mean get some alpine skiing equipment and jump over the snow cliff before learning how to skii - but to express yourself slowly.
Once you have mastered a certain degree of confidence you must then master the body language that tells people that you're confident. When you stand make sure you stand upright with both hands on your sides. On top of this make sure you don't fidget with your hands or even think of looking to the floor when talking to anyone. The feeling of confidence after doing this is that of warm acceptance, just like the effect of home space heaters on a cold winter night.
In addition to this you should also look at people dead in the eyeballs whenever you talk to them. This is a good show of confidence and people are bound to treat you with more respect than ever before.
